Our Philosophy - We're a team
We believe that managing chronic disorders (like most endocrine disorders), requires a team.  The patient is an essential player on that team.  Without your participation, physicians' recommendations make little difference.  Of course, in order for you to participate fully, you must be given the right information.  You need to understand your illness and your treatment options.  You need to know the consequences of the choices you make.  So our job is not only to make recommendations, but to educate and to explain why certain tests, medications and lifestyle changes are important.

We will also communicate regularly with your primary care physician, as well as your other health care providers as needed.  We believe that your primary care physician is one of the most important members of your health care team, second only to you.
